2202NetNW NM Digital Net Great training opportunity using the FLDIGI software suite that is widely used by EMCOMM entities. This event allows net participants to upload and compare messages and images received during the net using the FLDIGI software programs.

***Note: With the beginning of DST on 3/10/24, net start time is now 0800 MST for AZ and 0900 MDT for NM and other mountain time zone areas.

NCS KF5SMH will acknowledge checkins on 7.120 MHz USB (+1500 Hz offset) starting at 45 minutes before net start time on Olivia 16/1K mode. Net uses FLAMP to send/receive messages sent in MFSK64, MT63/1KL, and other modes as determined by NCS. Net images will typically be sent in MFSK64 mode.

Note that use of USB hubs has been proven to cause unstable reception of images (as determined by at least two of our club members). A direct connection from your soundcard device to your computer's USB port may be necessary.

AZRCCC members are encouraged to upload messages and photos for comparison with other members regarding propagation reception issues. Non-members can send their received images to wa9tkk@gmail.com for posting in the Photo Gallery on this website.

Here is a description of FEMA Course PER-334:
This course is designed to teach and encourage community members impacted by a disaster to prepare, take preservation actions and perform, as appropriate, light search and rescue response to aid their family and other community members in the immediate aftermath of a natural disaster or human-made incident. This course is not intended for the professional responder however would be beneficial for the responder's family. The training does not qualify the participants to serve in an emergency responder role.

Again, this is a unique opportunity that the Mesa East Stake has created for our local communities. If you have an interest in emergency preparedness, do not pass up this opportunity to participate in a FEMA certified course presented by emergency management professionals and with absolutely no cost to you.

Please review the flyer for details.
